I'll make it short and simple...a 15 rounder...what's your call?

Floyd had the speed and movement, Rahman had the power but Floyd beat some big punchers....tough but I think Floyd may be able to survive some shaken moments to win

Rahman was a decent fighter when motivated and in shape. Patterson was a smallish heavyweight with quickness but was susceptible to a big puncher like Hasim was. I'll take Rahman by 7th round kayo. Only a really big puncher could keep Patterson down and that Rahman was if nothing else.

I really hate to pick Hasim Rahman over a great like Floyd Patterson. But looking at the Lennox Lewis fight and a few others, that power might not be something Floyd would do too well with.

These guys are n the same weight class in name only. A 240 pound Rahman will most likely blow out a 190 pound Patterson, despite Floyd's overall superiority.

I wouldn't be shocked by either winning to be honest.

I will go with Patterson, because he was more consistant.

I'd pick Patterson to knock out Rahman. Rahman, compared to Patterson, is slow, un-cordinated and was often planless. Patterson has the speed and punch to get it done on a TKO I reckon.

Of course, Rahman hits like a mule kicks and he could knock Patterson out twice in a round, I acknowledge that.

I see Floyd getting off the canvas more than once to win a decision. Floyd's skills would see him through on this one. Rahman could bang a bit but lacked the finish of a Liston or Foreman

please.. man.. patterson was the better fighter by a mile but the size and the power are big factors.. rahman was a hulk man... and not sure even if my man foreman was stronger than him... they are close in strength.. this guy was a monster, i don“t think that the little floyd could outpoint him during all the fight avoiding all the big bombs. i think that rahman will conect and will score the ko

Patterson was a tiny little heavyweight who is roughly about the same size as Bernard Hopkins. Rahman was Floyd's kriptonite a big strong super heavyweight who could punch.
He was bullied and tossed around by the 215 Liston. 240 Rahman would be a mismatch.
Rahman KO 2. I change my mind Rahman KO 1.

If Hopkins carried his weight well enough to 190-200 pounds I may be inclined to favour him over Rahman.

Not in his current state. I was thinking more Hopkins around the time of the Tarver fight. Probably should have made that clear

floyd patterson had much wider frame than hokpins, bernard was a long guy, a big mw, more a natural super mw , a small lhw, patterson was in perfect shape at 188 pounds, he was a small cruiser
