Floyd Patterson vs Jack Dempsey

The fact that it is scheduled for 15 rounds, won't have much bearing on the outcome.

 

Jack too fast and strong ..

 

Patterson is the much better skilled boxer, he was better in everything in the skill department.simply dempsey was a savage animal, you born with it or not, you cant make the killer instint in a gym, dempsey was tougher, hits harder ,was naturally bigger despite their weights, took a better shot, dempsey was a raw street fighter, patterson could not overcome a force of nature just with skill and speed

Patterson is not only more skilled as a boxer but is faster. And he hit hard enough to get the job done. Things to think about.

 

I love Floyd Patterson....he's a boxing hero to me, but this would haver been a disaster for him...Dempsey was an animal.

 

Things to think about, and then dismiss as being insufficient.

I've never seen Patterson win a H2H on this sight.

 

Brian London and Pete Rademacher don't show up in many fantasy fights.

BillB is emphatically not a Patterson fan.

 

Less was sufficient for Flynn to get the job done. Far less was almost sufficient for Firpo.

But I ain't betting on it happening more often than not.

 

Prime Jack Dempsey was a beast...he wins by KO...
