Bivins held wins over Moore and Charles among other wins...we all know about Patterson win over Moore. But who would win between these 2?
I have been checking Bivins out for a few weeks...Bivens may never have fought more than 10 rounders? I think 10 favors Bivens, but lean towards a close decision for Patterson. Since I don’t know how Bivens would fare over 12 let alone 15, I think Jimmy might struggle with the endurance and pacing of the fight. I think Floyd stops him from 12 on in this scenario.
In Patterson's long career, he only clearly lost to Ali and Liston. Patterson could punch with best of them and contrary to many peoples perception, he was durable. I know about the knockdowns, but in almost every case, he got up, continued and won. Bivens was good Heavyweight but Patterson was the better fighter.
