I'm changing my original assessment with this post. Styles make fights Jugger-nut. No way Young stops Patterson. Styles...make...fights.
Floyd would UD Young or stop him. Repeat: Styles make fights!!!

You have no logic Jugger...Floyd was young when he faced Rademacher, a more experienced fighter, 25 pounds heavier, and 7 years older. After his flash knockdown, Floyd decked him a thousand times and was bored by the time it was called. I'm the 'eras' guy. Had Floyd been born 10 years later, he could have bested any of the seventies guys you mentioned. Lyle got schooled by Quarry,Norton couldn't hit as hard as Ingo or Sonny, and Shavers was an anamoly (which Earnie was going to show up?) You know nothing about history. Liston and Ingo, who's right would have iced most, were the only ones to stop Patterson. They didn't even keep him down! Crawl back into your hole, I made an interesting post and your troweling out BS. Styles...make...fights and Patterson would have the tools to UD or stop Jimmy, especially if he was born 10 years later. The majority of the posters agree with me. Take a hike troll-dog!

Because Jimmy could not punch that hard (he dropped Big George because attrition) I give Floyd a good chance to score because of his fast hands and combo, Floyd also had power but Young also had a good set of whiskers so I see it going the distance with perhaps Floyd getting a close points win

Young by a very close decision...Ellis made it close, but lost....Young was no Ellis...and he was no Machen...the ultra slick Jimmy Young would edge Floyd I believe.

young did not have the power to get his respect(i hope that any idiot don“t tell me that he dropped foreman), patterson woul dkeep coming, he was stronger, hits much harder than young, he was faster, he would beat by decision. young was effective vs ponderous guys like the 77 version of foreman, not a dinamic and skilled guy like patterson
