frazier but could be a chess match.

both men small with big booming left hooks both men have handspeed...but floyd is by far the fastest ,frazier isnt as fast but always follows up with alot of ppunches.

my feeling is that floyd will get bullied into the ropes and a left hook will ko him....but as i said it could be a chess match becuase of floyds ring knowledge and abilty to bounce in and out throw his combo's and walk out. frazier will throw some distractions but he is mainly just trying to pin a left hook.

also remember that floyd wasnt a natural heavy or cruiser as frazier was and fraziers power and relentless workrate and left hook i think will stop it...
no disrespect for floyd he could and would beat alot of prime heavies but frazier just isnt the guy i think he can beat

Prime for prime --- go with Joe.
    Floyd no chin.
Joe's left hook would do the job.

joe frazier would knock him out in the 6 round but patterson would probably go down at least once in every round before that he would try getting up in the 6 before the ref waves it off

Yeah, have to go with Joe here. Late stoppage is a good call.

Good match-up. It's interesting this hasn't really come up before.

I think this could be a real rock-em sock-em robots type of fight, with both guys tearing after each other. Ultimately, the much more durable, harder-hitting Frazier takes Patterson out. I'm going to say around rounds 6-8.
