I'd pick Povetkin to beat any small cruiserweight.

I had a dream last night that Patterson was both a boxer and an NBA player that won a world championship. He played for the Nuggets.

I thought Huck beat him, or definitely deserved a draw.

A few, yeah. You saw it with Huck and you saw it with Hunter, he has small technical issues with smaller men and he's a fighter that thrives on threat and fear. If guys can't hurt him he becomes nonchalant. Weird for someone so experienced.

Povetkin breaks him down and eventually stops him. Povetkin's not a crazy knockout artist but he's a beefy full-grown heavyweight with good skills and technique. The medium-sized Patterson would feel every punch that Povetkin lands.

But would he feel every punch that Patterson lands?

By today's standards, fighters just do not want to train as they did years ago, no one can grow to proportions of that size without a little help from steroids. It cannot be organic foods either.

Pov KO at any moment from the first bell. Fast enough to catch Patterson, stronger, harder puncher. He sparks him imo

I'd say left hooks wise, Povs is better delivered and meaty as **** mate, it could be better, its faster anyway. They may not have the aura of a Liston, but the likes of Povetkin and say Tommy Morrison are arguably the best left hookers for a combo of speed and power ive ever seen at heavy

Lol, a good one but today with all these Jolly Green Giants, I remember in the Rocky vs Drago movie, Drago was injected with steroids, the Wrestlers do use them too, it is a form of cheating, Global Warming Crises? I just do not buy it. Just a bunch of Gorditos on steroids who like to eat and not train, no hard work ethic, i do not pay attention to any of them, i like the smaller weight fighters, they look in shape.

That 1st round KO was against a 240 lbs iron chinned Mike Perez. Who did Liston KO in the first round other than Patterson? Roy Harris, Albert Westphal, Frankie Daniels, Wayne Bethea and Don Smith. These guys weighed 193 lbs on average and most of them were ****. Stopping these guys in the first round is nowhere near as impressive as stopping a big heavyweight who was never even wobbled by another fighter. It took Povetkin one right hand to take his senses away.

Another thing you brought up was Povetkin being a slow starter. You must have forgot that Patterson was also a slow starter. If you replace the massive heavyweights Povetkin fights with a 190 lbs fighter who can't take a punch, the result is a 1st round KO imo. Povetkin was going after Wladimir, AJ, Whyte from the very first round, what makes you think he'd show Patterson respect?
