i agree with mr magoo. floyd is way to fast and a way better boxer. and indeed carnera size combined with the fact that floyd wasn't a big man makes a lot of difference in size. but i think floyd's far superior boxing skills will make him win
Floyd beats him like a drum, too quick and elusive ,he stops Primo late on after giving him a painful going over.
Patterson would be too cute, and if they fought on the level, only Primo's ticker gets him into the second half of the fight. Patterson TKO8.
I think we can all pretty much agree that Patterson should be the heavy favorite. But, I think some are selling Carnera short by claiming that he'd get beaten early and in non-competitive fashion. Carnera may have been limited, but he was actually a fairly decent boxer, who could take a good punch, had reasonable power, good stamina, and needless to say a huge size advantage over Patterson. I concur that Floyd's skills and athleticism would most likely prevail, but I think we're looking at a decision here, and not an early round destruction..
I dont think much of Carnera's chin,he was wobbled by Ace Clark and Loughran ,dropped by Stribling ,Sharkey, and Gains, kod by Baer after being on the floor eleven times ,kod by Louis and twice kod by Leroy Haynes.
