I dont see how I was unfair, what part of my post was not accurate?

Against Baer , Carnera turned to Donovan, and indicated he could not continue,he had been down eleven times .
Against Louis, Carnera was hanging on the ropes completely helpless he had been down three times.I have allways given Carnera his dues regarding his courage, I just differed with a poster who said his chin was good. Do you not think Carnera would have suffered irreparable damage, if Donovan had NOT called those two fights off?
I fail to see what the other fights you mentioned have to do with Carnera's stoppage losses.
In Carnera's dresing room after the Louis thrashing he was shaking and crying from delayed shock,,an insensitive reporter asked him if he would like to fight Louis again his reply "Jesu god no".
I happen to think Carnera's career is one of the most shameful exploitative episodes in boxing history, an unsophisticated peasant ,a brave decent man, used as a performing circus animal, and finishing up taking monstrous beatings to line blood suckers pockets.

Baer did eventually beat him but Carnera had his own success in the bout, probably winning more rounds than Baer all in all and with a broken ankle. Not really a shameful way to lose your championship. Against Louis he performed better than Max Baer and Jack Sharkey atleast.

Carnera was a mob creation who couldn't actually fight a lick, Patterson was an olympic champ.

Carnera isn't fit, skill wise, to be Patterson's sparring partner. You guys in the classic forum... I swear lol

Over time Carnera became a fair ,if somewhat mechanical boxer he was fast afoot for his size and had decent handspeed, again for his size,if you watch him matching jabs with Louis, you can see that although there is little power behind his ,it is not much slower than Louis jab.
His handspeed was probably on a par ,if not better than Lennox Lewis, and he had a ton of heart.
Carnera beat quite a few fringe contenders and European level fighters ,most of these I beleive on merit.
Carnera was vulnerable to right hands ,but allways tried to get up after being floored,it can be said that whatever the circumstances of his fights ,he honoured his calling.

Yes he could box , I would put him as a good European level Heavyweight.
