    Could Patterson overcome Carnera's size and pole axe jab, ATG jab? This would be like Patterson fighting Lennox Lewis in a way because of the size difference.

    This would be a terrible fight. Patterson would stick and move, but wouldn't be able to hurt Carnera. On the other hand Carnera would plod after Floyd and probably never even catch him. Patterson SD in a chaser.

    Ya, now that I think of it, Carnera might wear himself out chasing Patterson, softening himself up for the KO later.

    There is a reason they used to call Carnera "The Circus Lennox Man" and that reason means Patterson is in BIG trouble.

    I read on this forum a week or so ago that Floyd Patterson was an all-time great Heavyweight Champion. I was waiting for the punchline but it never came. Nobody objected to the statement. So I started getting scared...maybe somebody spiked my Zima. Turns out I was sober.

    Well a lot of times on this forum, there's the thought that 190 pound fighters can't possibly hit hard enough to hurt a super heavyweight.
