    Not interested on contradicting you; but from what I remember, Floyd himself acknowledged in his autobiography that Cus wanted nothing to do with Marciano and wisely waited until the coast was all clear before moving Floyd into the HW ranks.

    If my sources are wrong, are wrong.

    Marciano chose to avoid a light heavyweight who wasn't even ranked at heavyweight?

    that kind of training would break a man eventually,and Rocky was no speedster.

    but knowing how hard he hits and how suffocating his pressure is,i'd say Patterson with close decision,otherwise Rocky haymakers into a TKO,Patterson can duck or slip away but Rocky would just crash in like a freight train.

    No. Marciano was 5 10 187 lbs with a very very short reach. Liston was 6 1/2 215lbs with big upper body and very very long reach. Rocky though tough in the ring was a gentleman. Liston (you can say he had his good side etc) was a mean thug.
