    Under isolated conditions he’d have a chance at beating all those guys. But I don’t think Patterson was made for a long interrupted streak like that. Lots of dudes in there who could crack too

    Baer and Schmeling would be the banana peels Patterson most likely slips on. Carnera due to his size may also prove a challenge.
