To clarify, Floyd gets to come in over 175 for these fights against light heavies? Like the Floyd who beat Ingo vs. 175-pound Yaqui Lopez?

The Joey Maxim who beat Floyd won just 2 of his final 10 fights after, and neither were against contenders. He wasn’t exactly prime. So if we’re saying the light heavyweight Floyd that existed, I figure probably:

Roy Jones Jr UD Floyd Patterson (probably a couple of flash knockdowns as Roy lashes out)

Floyd Patterson UD Eddie Mustafa Muhammad (as long as Floyd doesn’t get himself into a slower-pace chess match and outworks him)

Floyd Patterson SD Yaqui Lopez (Yaqui was always competitive but usually came up a hair short)

Bob Foster KO 6 Floyd Patterson (too much power for a younger and frail-chinned Patterson to weather)

Floyd Patterson KO 9 Marvin Johnson (but it could go the other way given Pops’ power and Floyd’s shaky chin)

James Scott UD Floyd Patterson (too strong and strong-willed, wears Floyd down with body punches and crowds Floyd with non-stop punching pressure)

Floyd Patterson KO 7 Mustafa Wassaja (big difference in class and Patterson has a much higher gear)
