Floyd Patterson vs Tony Tubbs

    I think Tubbs wins this on points. I think he takes Patterson's best shots. Thoughts?

    I would have to agree. Floyd was a smaller heavyweight and would have tough time with a guy as big yet skilled as Tubbs. I feel like the 80's had some really special fighter's that lost their career's to drug and alchohol problems. Tubbs, Spinks and Dokes all were inconsistent mostly due to lifestyle choices. At their best they were a handful in different ways.

    Floyd was far more skilled than Tubbs, he stood right in front of Tyson, Floyd would land hooks on the inside like Mike did, if he didn`t stop Tubbs he`d outpoint him, his defense was far better, Tyson hit Tubbs far too often.

    A motivated Tubbs had mad skills, and fast hands that would make Floyd think twice. UD for Tony.
