I wouldn't be surprised if Manny is being screwed over by Arum and Konkz, Manny is uneducated, maybe can't read and likely has poor maths, it makes him very vulnerable to being taken advantage of. This has happened throughout boxing history. I won't feel too sorry for him though, he's still a multi-millionaire

I understand where floyd is coming from, he don't mind feeding pac, but he doesn't want to feed arum. Pac gives away 27 percent to his promotor which means if floyd 40 million is correct, arum will be getting at least 10.8 mil already from pac's purse.

Well, Pacquiao-Marquez 3 did bring in a more total revenue than Mayweather-Ortiz and Manny still managed to take home over $10 million less for his fight, so he is getting screwed, but not nearly as much as these numbers would suggest.

Those are the official Nevada fight purses, by the looks of it. Arum probably pays Pacquaio advances and such too, which is basically money he really owed Manny from past fights. Manny will get PPV upsides too but likely allot less than he should get. So yes his highest payday will be more than 7million but probably less than advertised. Promoters like King and Arum usually charge their boxer for all kinds of additional services and take it out of their purse, paying them less

The official numbers for Pacquaio's last 3 bouts have never been released by HBO so we don't know what numbers they did. The only source is Arum, do we 100% believe Arum :huh

Why not? He will be contributing to at least 50% of the revenue.

The fighters need each other. Meet in the middle, compromise, and get things in order.

This is what you silly fans don't understand.

NO they don't need each other, they make a **** load of money fighting inferior opposition, they have no reason to fight accept to prove to the fans who is the better fighter. At this stage in their career they couldn't careless about proving this point.:deal

it wasn't gonna be at the MGM where Mayweather would have gotten 100 percent of the profit.

You people have no clue how ppv works. Manny has never nor will he ever make close to 20 for ppv. So to suggest that his earnings goes from 6 to 20-30 mil is a flat out lie.

First the cable companies take the first 10 to 15%. So if a ppv does 1 mil then they get the first 5-7.5 mil. Then the networks take the next 45% which leaves 40-45% to the promoters. If its a cross promotion that 20-22.5% each(which is why arum loves in house fights) at which point the fighters are paid their cut. So for a 1 million buy ppv or $50mil the carrier(cox, turner, comcast) get 5 to 7.5 mil the networks(hbo, showtime) get $22.5 mil which leaves 20 to 22.5 mil for the promoters. If its a cross promotion then they have to split that.

Arum is raping pac so my guess is he gets at best 50% or about 10 mil making his high 16.5 mil which gets you nuts on with the forbes numbers.

*******s are so stupid they think pac is getting 20 25 30 mil when he is fighting twice a year which would push his number even higher. But like always a ******* don't let facts get in the way of their story.
