    Poor Floyd.

Shows you how desperate he is for a Pacquaio fight.

Pacquiao got his masters in Tagalog from an accredited an celebrated University. Pacquiao was so smart that when he took the admission test they realized they couldnt teach Pacquiao anything and instead gave him a masters degree on the spot.

His ppv was 49.99 and 59.99 on my system. However that's not really the point.

Your still confused on how it works. Ppv earnings are the promoters earnings and not the fighters. The fighters are paid from the guaranteed money up front. Ie venue, cable, sponsers and advance ticket sells. Its risk free that's why its called guarantee. The fighter on top of that gets a % of the ppv. But no fighter gets 70% of the ppv.

So to break it down pac made 6.5 mil 27% of which he had to pay arum. That money comes frome the location(ie mgm grand), hbo, ticket sells. Arum gets the 45% for in house fighters and 22.5% for co-promoted. Pac then gets whatever percent that is worked out between him and arum. Floyd makes so much more because he works better deals with promoters because he works on a fight by fight bases. He gets a larger share of the ppv numbers. So using your numbers the ppv netted arum 37 mil not pac. Jmm was paid like pac up front then maybe a % of the ppv. at best pac got 15mil of the ppv money. But its more like 10 mil. Which like I said fits the forbes number when you add in nike money etc.

Uh, so much wrong with this post....

You are obviously making your percentages up...
First off, the cable companies take 50 percent off the top for distributing the PPV...

And HBO makes nowhere near 50 percent of the PPV money. That's ******ed. Ross Greenburg was on record many times saying that Hbo doesn't make anywhere near what people think off a ppv.

Basically with your stupid post and wild inane guesses, everything you typed is irrelevant to any rational discussion. You are clueless when it comes to the finances behind big time boxing.

it is what it is but if you take into account that Pac lives in the Phillipines and the general cost of living over there is much less then perhaps this is great for him :hey??:huh

    maybe I dunno

1st bolded: Floyd lives in Nevada, the most tax friendly state in the US

2nd bolded: While I agree it could be a 50/50 fight, pac himself said he would take a pay cut to make the fight earlier this month, but now $40 million guaranted isn't enough:roll:

So bored of these two clowns now. Mayweather is far too greedy for his own good, and Pacquiao has become one of the most pathetic, spineless 'businessmen' I've ever known of. If he had any balls he'd have already publicly stated "50/50, May 5th, the cut's fine and I'm good around needles".

So many numbers are sooo off? According to your article my numbers are dead on. The only difference is that article says says that the network(hbo, showtime) takes 10% of the top and the cable companies get 45%(cox comcast ect.) That article also says the hbo doesn't risk anything. That's not true the carriers don't risk anything.
