i really don't think pac cares what floyd says on what or how much he makes.

pac probly under-reports how much he makes to avoid paying more taxes and appearance of being "too rich."

floyd on the other hand, he's probly exaggerating, pretending to be more successful than he really is.

 The stupidity of a *******. So Pac is lying to the IRS so he doesn't look "too rich"?

These numbers are reported to the government via multiple forms from multiple sources. These are Pac's crappy numbers and he is a pure ducking fraud for not accepting the FIRST 50/50 or the latest $40 million GUARANTEED.

The issue here is that Arum won't guarantee Pac's purse. You are backing up the pure exploitation of your hero.

LOL Floyd and his fans trying to justify another duck move. LOL Is Floyd really that desperate in trying to justify himself pricing out of the fight?

Oh and I'm pretty sure the IRS is carefully watching Floyd right now. LOL

    No duck moves here.

    Choice A: 50/50, 14 day cut off - REJECTED!

    Choice B: 50/50, 0 cut off - REJECTED!

    Choice C: possibility of 50/50, May 5th - REJECTED!

    Choice D: 60/40 or $40 million guaranteed, May 5th - REJECTED!

Pac is completely full of crap. Nothing will make this fight. Pac is a ducking fraud.

A 23-page lawsuit document filed by Golden Boy Promotions against rival promotional company Top Rank has been obtained.

Golden Boy sued Top Rank recently for a second time, claiming that Top Rank CEO Bob Arum and CFO David Lopez have been racketeering and participating in fraud.

Bob Arum shrugged off the allegations.

The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court of Nevada, accuses Arum of intentionally hiding and falsely accounting for millions of dollars that Golden Boy believes they have a stake in.

Issues include business operations and the financial outcomes of three Manny Pacquiao fights, against Joshua Clottey, Miguel Cotto, and David Diaz. Golden Boy is claiming that millions of dollars are owed to them as per a 2007 court ruling entitling Golden Boy to take part of Top Rank’s revenue concerning Manny Pacquiao.

Golden Boy was granted ownership of a percentage of Pacquiao’s promotional contract after the fighter signed a contract with them in 2007, and then another with Top Rank. The first no longer applies.

The suit document described the previous 2007 ruling, as well as other vital information involving contractual terms between Pacquiao, Top Rank, and Golden Boy.

Under current terms with Top Rank, Pacquiao is entitled to a guaranteed purse of at least two million dollars per fight, or 45 percent of net profits of any proceeds relating to Pacquiao's events. He also receives 50 percent of remaining net profits, due to an agreement between Top Rank and Pacquiao’s own promotional company, M-P Promotions.

As the document clarifies, the purpose of a purse is to ‘ensure’ a fighter take some profit, should the fight fail to profit (or turn out to be a financial disaster).

Due to Pacquiao receiving profits in the form of a purse and as owner of M-P Promotions, the “...plain intent of the M-P Agreement was to give Pacquiao 72.5 percent of the net profits from his events (45 percent as his purse and 50 percent of the remaining 55 percent to M-P), and for Top Rank to retain 27.5 percent of the net profits.”

50/50 fight, anything else is a duck from either fighter. Clear as day.

If this nonsense keeps on going, we'll be talking about whose collection of cars are better.
Who cares, fans only wants the fight at 50/50.

if Pac is making 72.5% of the profits then how can people really believe he is only taking home 7-8 million. His fight against JMM is reported to have sold 1.41 million PPV's that's about 85Million dollars in revenue + 12 million at the gate, plus all the international rights so it must've done well over 100 million dollars in revenue. Then let's say they spent 50million dollars in promoting it, paying the networks, and giving the cable distributors their share there's still over 50million$ left. Let's say Marquez got 10million$, well there's still over 40million$ left. If Pac gets 72.5% of that he's making over 29 million dollars in a single fight. And that's under estimating the revenue and over estimating the expenditures.
