Like I said in the beginning, this would be a boring fight with both fighters very unwilling to engage. Even if JMM made a mistake as he did against PAC, Floyd would not make him pay the same price.
Regarding Marquez's punch let's Ask Pac how hard he hits.
IMO hard enough to keep floyd honest.

    Floyd by UD or SD

great points...plus we are talking about an 130 pound Floyd where he was agressive..this fight ends in a KO mid rounds..Pac has good power but he doesnt hit harder than PBF at 130

Manny isn't more courageous than Mayweather. Manny isn't fighting guys larger than him, and hasn't since his one fight with MAB at 126.

Remember, last night, who weighed 145 and who weighed 141? Pacquiao is bigger than the guys he's facing. He was bigger than Morales too.

My point is, Mayweather only gained this rep as being a runner and not engaging when he started in the WW division. And in both the fights that people point to, (DLH and Baldomir) he was outweighed by 15lbs on fight night. When Mayweather was at 140 and below, fighting guys his own size, he engaged everyone, even big punchers like Corrales. Thus the reason he fought Hatton straight up.

Pac does have a more powerful one punch then floyd with the straight left. That is fact.

It doesn't matter about his power, he's not a good counterpuncher. The fact that JMM allowed himself to be wide open to a counter left from Pac says alot about his ablility to deal with a counterpuncher like Floyd. Furthermore, I've seen just about every Floyd fight. Anytime he goes against a guy that doesn't have the power to really hurt him, he's pretty agressive. In fact, he was really agressive against Zab and Corely, even though both managed to hurt Floyd.

Seems to be the typical response when two posters disagree:lol:

Everything you said is true, but you omitt a very obvious PBF trait and that is, he usually fights tentatively and fighting a master counter puncher like JMM would not change his style. PFP, There is not one boxer on Floyd's resume at 130 that was better than JMM(and that includes corrales).

Anyway, I don't know why everyone is getting so upset about, I already said PBF would win this one!:huh

You misread what he posted. He said that Pac has a more powerful straight left than Floyd. Being that Pac is a lefty and Floyd a righty, this is obviously true. He was clearly taking a shot at Pac.

Marquez doesnt have enough power to hurt PBF at 130 so PBf would be agressive against him..what good counter punchers did floyd fight tentatively against?

To tell you the truth, I don't believe Floyd hit harder at 130. He has never been a devastating puncher. There's a reason 22 of 25 of his KO's were TKO's.

It would be damn close IMO. He was dropping alot of fighters at 130. Pacquiao hit harder.....PBF was far more accurate and that can be devastating.
