The DLH fight was crap on both sides. But he gets full credit for Hatton.

He proved the haters wrong? Almost everyone thought Mayweather was going to win. Beating up a junior welterweight doesn't prove nothing.

Dude stop with the junior welterweight **** cause everyone knows Mayweather isnt even a natural Welterweight yet assholes like you want him to fight Margarito who is a HUGE welterweight who should really be fighting at 154lbs

Yeah I'm an ******* for critcizing the opponent he chose to fight. What about Mosely? Didn't he want to fight him after Mayweather was done with Delahoya? But he turned that down because he viewed him as a threat. True Mayweather isn't a natural welterweight, but isn't he considerded the #1 welterweight? And if you're considerded the #1 welterweight you fight the best top opponent in your division. Simple logic, so don't give me that **** that he's not a natural welterweight.

IMO, after last nights performance PBF is an ATG. I dislike the guy however he is simply amazing, his defence was top notch....and HOW ABOUT THE ****ING TIMING. That left was simply awesome.

STFU Fanboy. Why does Margarito need to fight @ 154? He makes 147 with ease and doesn't starve himself to do so. I guess you just want the Floyd to not fight any big WW's or something?

And Mayweather IS a legit WW, enough of this "Natural weight" bull****. :patsch

The majority of haters predicted a floyd win, in fact very few haters or hatton fans predicted it any other way.

I for one (who dislike Floyd's 'persona'), knew Floyd was favourite and for very good reason. What I did not expect was a KO of Hatton. He was super impressive in his accuracy from round 6-7+, and as Hatton himself admitted hit harder than he expected, and the skill used to evade the Hatton left in the KO, footwork, speed and accuracy were exceptional.

He was a worthy winner and surprise surprise graceful in victory. I just wish the pre-fight floyd persona would vanish. Surely at this stage of his career he no longer has to play villain to put bums on seats, or buys on PPV.

If he chooses to be who he really is, he will have a lot less haters. But he didn't prove a point, he just re-affirmed everything that people already knew.

    Well done PBF.

I think Mayweather proved he didn't have to fight with a negative strategy to beat an exciting fighter.

This fight was a GOOD FIGHT, and Floyd showed he could fight very smart without being boring.

I consider Ricky Hatton a brilliant fighter.
Mayweather's obviously one of the true all-time greats. He deserves comparison with the legends.
    He's a winner, and entertaining.

I dont rank him as high as Sugar Ray Robinson, but it would be silly to deny his greatness.
