from the 2nd blow. It only took him about 10 seconds to regain his senses and try to walk down Shane.

He did the right thing imo by standing in the pocket to smolder shane and trying to sneak in some body shots. The last 35 seconds were all Mayweather, despite Mosley hurting him with two big shots earlier in the round. The way the round ended would make you think nothing even happened to Floyd.

Mosley is a great finisher, and he would have KO'd Floyd had he chose to run or just cover up. The sharks in the ocean can't get you if they don't smell your blood.

Mayweather beat him psychologically by regaining control of that round.

I was expecting to see Floyd down for the first time in his own career (I don't count the injured hand in the Hernandez fight), but he managed to whether the storm. This is what impressed me the most about the fight.

He was luck he was fighting an old man that couldnt pull the trigger anymore otherwise he would've get knocked the **** out and you would be heading to the urgencies for trying to off yourself.

it was a very impressive display of resiliance. what impressed me- was that he got rocked with the right hand- and had the presence of mind to actually tangle the same hand as it was pulling back- and tie it up to gain composure.

think about that for a second- how quikly he had to make that decison . he gets hit with a shot- realises he s hurt- then is able to grab it before shane pulls the right hand back- and therfore nullifies shane from going again. its not easy to do. most people get hit and take a few moment s to realise theyve been hit- and then need another moment to react and try and tie up. i havnt seen anybody react that quickly to being hit and hurt- and work thru it that quickly either.

Floyd recuperating so quick and the way he handled the rest of the round is nearly as impressive as the rest of his perfomance.

Just imagine if he had a young Shane Mosley in front of him.. it would have been lights out.

This was what amazed me too. He actually grabbed Mosleys hand and used it to not only tie mosley up but also to keep his balance. People who say he has no heart have just been proved wrong. That was the biggest wake up call of his career and he responded instantly.

Very pleased with the undercard and the main event.

Knew all this **** would start once Floyd beat him, yet before the fight it was Shane this and Shane that

Floyd was a class act, he troubled Shane throughout the fight. Yeah he got caught by an absolute bomb in the 2nd round but he took it well, didn't go down and actually carried the rest of the round out alright. From there on he dominated the fight.

Great performance by Floyd in beating a fighter who was THE MAN at WW. Lets not forget that.

The more i see the 2nd punch im more convinced that it looked worse than it was by floyd dropping his head in order to move away from the following punch. As if he was going down.

It as if floyd instinctively ducked the next punch expecting it to come after that bomb. I may be wrong.

to people who have followed Floyd's career closely from the beginning... was this the most trouble that Floyd's ever been in?
