Oh, I know it's just a pipe dream, but can you explain this to me? I always thought that it's just Vegas money that locks every fight into the Casinos.

State income tax. Neveda doesn't have it. A fighter can lose a huge part of their purse to tax in another state. Vegas also has many things to distract them from crappy undercards. Most don't even take their seat and gamble away till main event.

That's the reason it is in Vegas.

If the fight were at the new Cowboys Stadium (whatever it's called) it could do a monster gate. Thing holds like 110,000 or so.

It isn't really the stadium. It is the pre and post fight atmosphere.

I don't know if this is true for Dallas' Stadium, but most modern stadiums are "islands in an ocean of concrete". Imagine a building with a mile of parking in every direction around it. The only reasonably close food choices are in stadium. To get in or out of the parking lot you wait in an insane line. Zero to little public transportation so you are forced to have a personal vehicle. Nothing but a parking lot surrounding the place because they got the land cheap in the crap part of town. Etc...

They are basically planned for ONLY locals to attend events there. (I am guessing it is the same for Dallas' stadium." On google maps there is a Discount Tire across the street, hahaha. That does not say "World Class"!

Not dissing Dallas, but I think "high end" fans would be seriously disappointed in the whole experience. There are only a handfull of venues ready for real top level fight events. I could be talking out of my ass though.

yep and i can imagine it will be sold out too. Just imagine how much money they'll make just for the tickets alone.
