Does anyone think he retired because he knew Oscar could beat him in a rematch. He was suppose to fight him in a rematch after the Forbes fight, then announced his retirement after Oscar won. Not saying Oscar would have beat him, but he came really really close in there fight.

He came nowhere near beating him and would have probably been going to 147 for the rematch

The fight was a clear UD imo, Oscars punches were rarly landing, I think the judges got sucked in by the flashiness.

Well by the judges score cards it was close. True that! After Floyd won he has the say so at what weight to fight at.

The fight was 'close' through 9 and then became a clear UD for Floyd after that.

I think it was that Oscar looked so bad in the Forbes fight. If Oscar would have been able to put away Forbes without getting hit as much the fight probably would have went on.

It was a split decision, u fool!!! :patsch

Oscar would of got beat UD or late TKO in second fight. He was on the slide.

Oscar had no need to move down to 147lbs, it would of been at light-middle.

They did talk of the fight being back down at welter since Floyd won.

the fight was not as close as the handicapped judge made it seem. ALOT of the punches were caught or slipped, DLH just looked busy...
