It's like he's talking about Pacman lol. He left Arum so long ago its got nothing to do with him now, but this story sure sounds like someone else we know.

Oh no, a promoter thats fine with letting top names fight dangerous up and comers! If anything we need more Bob Arums. And why does Floyd care? Does he think he would have lost if Arum forced him to fight a young talent?

Nope, in my opinion his worse mistake was finishing his career on Berto and McGregor, a very sad and pathetic way to end an otherwise fantastic career.

Well, he can't exactly be honest and say "The worst mistake I did was get involved with James Prince, which Bob bailed me out of after they busted in and used Ellerbe as a human pinata"

Arums gotten better the last 4 years or so. But floyds decision was def the right one.

With arum floyd never would have gotten oscar which got him 70m (arum wouldnt even give him 20 for this fight).

The pac may fight would likely have happened during 2010 if he stayed with arum so theres that

To be fair floyd was allready a pretty huge name before he left arum

The gatti fight was his first ppv an i think it did 300-350k buys which certainly aient bad.. in contrast to fighters everyone seems to know now like GGG who cant even muster 200k unless its a megafight like canelo.

Your right that if he left earlier on his career and went solo he would not have been better off. He would have struggled as a free agent who doesnt have a huge fanbase to land any significant fight.

Thats bull****. He might hate Bob now but Bob got him all those fights he wanted when he couldn't fill a high school gym back in Detroit. I remember because I was there and Floyd Mayweather Jr. was a nobody in comparison to "Boom Boom" Johnson and James Toney. Not to act like Arum is a saint but he overpaid Floyd for years if you look at what he was dragging in at the time.
Arum had to pay guys more to fight Floyd because he was very skilled and he didn't draw big crowds.

Hernandez, Manfredy, Corrales, Castillo, Gatti, Judah and Baldomir didn't get a check from Floyd that was from Top Rank. He needed those names just to get ODLH to consider making the fight. Does he think fighting Sharmba Mitchell way in Oregon was enough? He did well after Arum built him but be honest Arum ****ing built him.
Same for Oscar, Cotto, and Pacquiao a bunch of possible gym rats that got the proper backing to become superstars. Nobody does it on their own.

TMT or any Promotional firm ran by an ATG boxer, will always be unable to produce an ATG.

The ATG boxer will subconsciously undermine any boxer who has a chance to surpass their own legacy, the ATG boxer turned promoter wants a decent subordinate Pet ... i.e. Gervonta Davis very low intellectual ability & small frame is the only boxer that Floyd can feel intellectually superior to, same with Canelo who already took an L from the same man who L'd his boss, Oscar subconsciously had to make sure he took that L first, so he doesn't feel threatened by his ATG Legacy

Its typical Male dominance attraction...down to picking smaller framed guys
    Floyd Mayweather 5'08" @130 ----> Gervonta Davis 5'05" @130
Oscar De La Hoya 5'11" @147----> Canelo Alvarez 5'07" @147

If a boxer wants to be an ATG, those are just the immediately relevant names:
    • Oscar De la Hoya (Promoted by Bob Arum)
    • Floyd Mayweather (Promoted by Bob Arum)
    • Manny Pacquiao (Promoted by Bob Arum)
    • Vasyl Lomachenko (Promoted by Bob Arum)

Let's also acknowledge that Bob Arum has been getting Terence Crawford 1 million dollar plus paydays since the Gamboa fight, maybe even Ricky Burns fight. So thats about $11 million on average vs the top 4 guys at PBC who made that much combined in the past 2 years fighting 2x a year a piece. So how is Bob ****ing his guys vs Al Haymon or him? When is Davis going to be on TV again fighting? Where is Tabiti? Where is Bey? Where is Love?
His track record is not solid enough as a promoter to know what he is talking about.

Floyd is just upset that Loma is making him look like a cherrypicker and a ducker by hiding Davis. This is his response to get attention away from the call out Loma did to the both of them. This is what Floyd usually does, uses irrelevant stuff to draw attention away and his cheerleaders eat it up.

Why is he so worried how much Loma gets paid? Or how much TR pays? We as fans don't care, we just want to see fights, good fights not cherry-picked.

    Just mentioned the relevant names
Floyd-Oscar-Pacman-Vasyl are connected to the main subject ---> (TMT) poor attempt at negative PR

Bob Arum was Floyd Mayweather father when his father was in jail...
Bob Arum was Oscar De la Hoya mother after his mother ascended...

Oscar had a low IQ father
    Floyd had a criminal family

Both quasi-orphans were lucky to have Uncle Bob fill in the Void

His biggest mistake was beating up a woman! He served jail time for that!
