Margo fans are a funny bunch. The best thing they can say about him can eat shots. Really is that all this guy could do, defend punches with his face.

 

Margo used his two advantages (huge size and great stamina) against naturally smaller boxer-type fighters. Floyd would be in trouble with Margo.

I'm not saying Margo was great boxer, no quite the opposite. He would be destroyed against similar sized top fighters like Martinez, Golovkin or any top 10 MW of any era. Margo was just good cutting weight and beating 10-15 pounds smaller fighters.

 

And yes, Canelo would get a beating against Golovkin. It wouldn't be even competitive.

Cotto looked comfortable for 5/6 rounds v Margo in the first fight. Margo wouldn't get close to Mayweather.
