    or does he need to fight people the haters say he should fight?

    - his point is basically he has done everything he can in the sport and his legacy is complete. No matter who he faces people will always say there is somebody else that he cant beat and it will never end.

    He seems quite comfortable with his decision

    The issue is people don't care about who legitimately earns a shot (like Guerrero) they just want to see Floyd lose. With this new show time deal he should just fight guys that are 147 and call it a career.

    Of course he has that right

    Ray Leonard was doing the same exact thing with Kevin Howard, Hagler.

    He put off Hagler for 5 years, made press conferences to publicly humiliate him, only took the fight after Hagler went life and death with Mugabi.

    respect??the man is already a 1st ballot hall of famer and an atg..all these fights are just icing on the cake..plus hell he is fighting all world champions

    People act like this man just started his career,he was a hall of famer before he got to 140..dude is a high ranking atg and just adding more titles to his resume
