I bet Mayweather was laughing like a **** when he sent that text. So lets just say Mayweather fights Septemeber and May and wins both... 50-0 then he is retiring. this is just a head**** for Pacquiao and his fans for being so ungracious and p***ing on his victory. It's done, it's history, 200 million and 0 intact, job done. He did a similar thing with Khan, Khan was considered disrespectful so Mayweather said he would be open to a fight and left Khan sitting there for a year inactive and two years later still no fight.
And if Pac catches him and KOs him (unlikely, but possible) ? Would Floyd fight a 51st time ? He'd be over 40. The combined purses for three fights could be over 3/4 of a billion dollars US ! :yep
I miss it too. Holmes-Ali, Holmes-****ey, Hagler-Hearns, Hagler-Leonard etc. Made for an awesome atmosphere.
 Well here we go again. I warn everyone to take with a grain of salt. People do change their minds. You think a deal is gonna be made easier the 2nd time around?
Awful news. Pac cannot beat mayweather, I want to see someone who can test floyd in his last couple of fights. Pac doesn't have the style or determination to ever beat floyd.
I would rather pac take on two competitive fights before facing Floyd again. Screw the punching power, combinations. If you do not have the legs you cannot beat floyd, simple. Both fighters should face Amir Khan for sure before their own rematch.
Pac robbed the fans of a real fight by going into the fight injured he was smiling and laughing know he had that injury disgusting.
The biggest mistake both Lewis and Tyson made was that the fight was 4-5 years to late. Tyson was so shot while Lewis was fighting at his best. The beating Lewis game him seriously hurt Tysons image. Tyson in his autobiography mentions that he had to many distractions, problems in his life to focus, train properly for a match with someone as skilled as Lewis. He was like all the money in the world could not put him in the same ring with Lewis again.
Well Pacman is an ATG and if both guys feel like riding off into the sunset after facing each other one more time, I'd have no problem with it. I don't expect a different outcome from their first fight, Pacman just looks more his age compared to Mayweather at this juncture in their careers.
The rematch might be interesting because both fighters have faced each other now and both must have taken big lessons from their first encounter. Maybe they will both handle the pressure of the occasion better as well.
