Floyd is absolutely right. He won't get much credit despite Mosley being a very dangerous guy for anyone at 147

Thing is.......Ricky IS a 140LB fighter, JMM IS a 135LB fighter, ODLH was far from prime, Zab Judah took him the distance and top guys STOP Zab, he DID fight Baldomir because he was a poor champ and at the end of the day Mosley IS old and past prime also.

What does Floyd ****ing expect people to say? He never got any **** when he fought legit threats like an unbeaten Corrales, Castillo etc because he was proving his worth and taking on challenges.

It ain't rocket science at all, you can't expect huge props for these types of victories when you are supposed to be one of the top fighters of this generation.

"I've seen Shane Mosley fight Miguel Cotto and get ouboxed. I've seen Winky Wright beat him with just a jab. I've seen Vernon Forrest, may he rest in peace, also outbox him."

He is speaking the truth, what he forgets to mention, is he would never fight guys of that standard for fear of loosing his O.

The Thing is Hatton said he wasn't ready for Mayweather when Floyd was at 140. And hatton regularly weighed more on fight night than Floyd did even though he was fighting at Jr. WW, so there goes that BS about him being smaller. Plus Floyd beat an undefeated champion.

De la Hoya was not far from prime, but got outclassed by faster more skilled fighter.

Zab judah took him distance and got busted up in the process and had to cheat to keep from getting stopped.

And if Mosley is supposed to be so old and past it, then why do so many people want to see this fight. Why were so many people saying that Mosley would whoop Floyd, and that Floyd needs to fight him becasue he's a real threat. And Mosley ducked Floyd in the past.

Just like you rattled off a bunch of excuses is exactly what Floyd was talking about.

He won't have a problem dealing with that issue as Shane's gonna kick his ass.

    Shane by KO.

You never addressed all the issues and you did a **** poor job on the ones you did. Floyd can't run from these facts and neither can you.

Your a dumbass. I exposed your so called "facts"

Hatton is a bigger fighter than than Mayweather who cuts more weight so he can fight at 140.

Judah was the champ when the fight was signed. he lost to Baldomir and then Mayweather beat him too.

Mayweather thoroughly outboxed a much bigger and stronger DLH at 154.

The Mosley fight could have happened years ago if Mosley hadn't ducked him.

But like he said he ill never get credit.

Fighting in hockey is a long-honored tradition bud... It's expected to happen. I don't follow b-ball so I can't comment on the validity of your claim but I read up on sports a lot and can't say I've really seen anyone making a big fuss about a scrap in b-ball. I think ultimately it comes down to the fact that it's just not as common in that sport as it is in hockey. BTW, if someone ever for seriously injured in hockey due to another player purposely trying to cause them serious harm, there are serious repercussions for such actions, just like in any other sports and it is NOT looked past anymore so... Marty McSorley's attack on Donald Brashear is one example.
