Doesn’t matter. You go up to win a title you either defend it or it’s fraudulent. Same as Manny at 154. So either Tank is a 140 champion or he’s a fraud. Going up to win a belt in a higher division with no intention of defending it against the other best guys at that weight doesn’t impress me.

No such thing as full blown. You make the weight or you don’t. We got people crying about other non existent things like weight bullies and now we have to add full blown to the list? Ok, go ahead but I don’t.

 

Theyre not even ranked at 140 cmon now. "Full Blown" has been a boxing term used in regards to weight classes for decades.

 

Garcia has been faking mental illness and ducked Haney and Tank previously. Wtf are you talking about? Tank fought at 140 he knows his limit he was dwarfed in the ring he has no business there. Tank is small at 135 I bet if it was loma and garcia told him to fight at 140 you'd change your tune real fast claim garcia is too big and loma has no business up there and it would be 135 or no fight.

 

When did Tank fight Haney, Loma or Lopez? He’s 27,28 years old and has a resume on par with 23 year old Garcia. Nothing you try to deflect with changes that. A fight at 135 is just as fine as at 140. So why is this Garcias fault when Tank became a 3 division champion at 140?

 

People don’t need to be ranked to fight. Morales and Pacquiaos first fight wasn’t for any world title at all. Tank wasn’t ranked at 140 when he fought Barrios. So why does it matter now?

 

What makes more sense 2 guys ranked at lw fighting at 135 or 2 lightweights who arent ranked at 140 fighting at jw? Take your time answering.

 

And the difference with Barrios is that he was a career JWW before moving up to 147. Tank moved upto to 140 for a chance to win a belt in his third weight class, whether you count it as a legit title reign or not, thats upto you.

Its the same thing other fighters have done before i.e. Canelo, Cotto, Leonard, Roy, Pac ect. Look at Mikey he fought elio Rojas after a 2 year hiatus at 138 pounds went back down to 135 to fight Dejon for a lw strap and unified against Easter.

Ryan can make the weight he just has to be disciplined. It makes no sense to me for 2 lightweights to fight at a higher weight. Just my opinion.

 

Don’t need any time. One guy says he’s done at 135. Both have fought at 140 in the last year. Ranking is irrelevant. It’s not about making sense. It’s about making dollars. He’s supposedly this big ppv star. He’s supposedly got the biggest punch in boxing. He fought a ppv at 140. He knocked out his opponent at 140. Now it’s suddenly to big for him. That’s weird.

Great. What does that have to do with both guys having fought at 140 in the past year? Absolutely nothing.

 

It means if Ryan fooled you once obviously he'll fool you again. Dont be so gullible man.

 

It’s not my place to say how people with those types of conditions heal themselves. Being on social media isn’t illegal. So again, 2 guys who fought at 140 in the last year should have no problem making a fight at 140 against each other.
