Here we go again with the A-side nonsense. Just make the fight, 135 or 140, it doesn't matter. Why would it have to be a 135? If Ryan can't make 135, then he can't make it. If he can't make 135 safely then they'll be excuses if Tank wins. At 140 they'll be no excuses. It's like when Canelo fought Bivol. Bivol is a small LHW but Canelo didn't want excuses. He took the risk to fight Bivol at Bivol's weight. He lost but he took the risk. Floyd won't let Tank take that risk, but Tank fighting Ryan at 140 is not as big of a risk for Tank than Canelo fighting Bivol at 175.
Canelo Bivol was always discussed at 168, then it happened at 175. People get bigger and can't make lower weights anymore. True fighters take risks, have no problem fighting at higher weights so there won't be excuses.
Floyd complained about the injustice of the WBA denying LSC the opportunity to unify whilst giving GGG a ''special permit'' to fight Clenelo at 168. This is called seeing only what you want to see After his boy Twink lost his IBF 130 strap on the scales he fought for the vacant WBA strap at the same weight in his next fight against career 126 pounder Jesus Marcelo Andres Cuellar who was campaigning at 126, had never campaigned at 130, and was coming off a loss against Abner Mares down at 126 and a 16 month layoff and despite this he was mysteriously ranked #1 by the WBA at 130 and paired up against Twink for the vacant title for a completely fraudulent belt which had literally been stolen off the real champ who the WBA decided to downgrade for no goddamn reason other than to find a belt to give to Twink. They stole the belt off the real champ, The Man who beat The Man who beat The Man Long reigning champ Takashi Uchiyama had made 11 defences of his title and was The Man Jezrell Corrales dethroned him in his backyard, beating him twice And then Alberto Machado dethroned Corrales via KO and the WBA demoted him and gave his belt to Twink for beating a career 126 pounder who was coming off a loss, a 16 month layoff, and had been campaigning at 126 Check out this thread on it. Scandalous corruption https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/davis-cuellar-alberto-machado-and-wba-corruption.606231/ And what about this? This is actually unbelievable. That corrupt POS ref should've had his licence revoked Timestamped This content is protected
Okay so it's only A-side when your boy Canelo is fighting but tank is clear A-side here but it doesn't matter??? I see. Tank took a risk by fighting barriors a man who dwarfed him in the ring at 140. Even though he won he realizes that he belongs at 135. Tank is not a big guy not even at 135. If he can't make 135 then move on and worry about guys at 140 and stop mentioning Tank's name then.
OK but Tank Ryan is the fight that the fans want to see. If Ryan can't make 135 then it sucks for boxing that Floyd refuses to allow Tank to fight Ryan at 140 especially considering he already fought there and won impressively. Tank is dwarfed no matter whether he fights at 135 or at 140. He's not going to be any more dwarfed by Ryan at 135 than he would be at 140. Hell being dwarfed could be an advantage for Tank, height isn't weight so being dwarfed at either 135 or 140 isn't an excuse here.
Yeah before Bivol was accepting of the offer to fight Canelo at 168, but now recently i believe he only want's the Rematch at 175 or am i mistaken?
Yeah that's the guy and that channel is clown central. This is and has long been their featured video on their channel. It's so unbelievably cringe worthy Have some goddamn self-respect This content is protected
Allot to follow through, you must have a good memory to have remembered all those details, Either way Whole of Boxing Organisation's including refs, judges, time keepers need to be cleaned out & replenished.
On the other hand, if Floyd won't let Tank fight Ryan at 140, maybe Rolly will be willing to fight Ryan at 140. After all, Rolly ain't on the Floyd protection plan.
That would also be a good fight, All these guy's are aging but seem to not be in a rush to fight each other & would rather take another lower opposition challenger to the ring instead.
