Exactly. People think because Ryan had a few fights above 135 since his comeback, that automatically means hes a full blown 140 pounder now. Hes not a 140 pounder and the fight should happen at 135.
No longer easy but with the right trainer and nutritionist he can make 135 and be healthy and strong. A fight at 140 only benefits Ryan at this point.
Imagine thinking it’s Garcias fault that Pedraza is Tanks best win at the age of 28 instead of having Lopez, Haney or Loma on his resume at this point in his career. But yea, I see your point, it’s Garcias fault. Garcia made Tank fight Barrios to become a 3 division champion. Imagine that.
Nah, Tank can make the weight, Ryan requesting that the fight happen at 140 is just laziness on Ryans part. Both are 135 pounders and it only makes sense that the fight happens there.
Honestly if both fighters were trying to campaign at 140 then yea it makes sense, but Tank is at 135 and so was Ryan before his mental breakdown. Ryan can make the weight, to say otherwise is nonsense.
Tank fought at 140 last year. He became a 3 weight champion less than 400 days ago. He can easily fight at 140. It was all good when he beat the undefeated Mario Barrios. I don’t want to hear any excuses about how he can’t fight at 140 one year later.
