I never said Garcia wasn't better than Berto in any way except being stylistic Mayweather fodder.

Leave GGG out the equation. When does that ***** talks about taking on a champion on his prime like Brook ou Thurman? Never. Of course, he wants the worst champion of the category. A slow flatfooted plodder that all you have to do is to take away the left hook from him. What will be his next excuses for not taking on these guys?

Not a bad match up to be completely honest.

If you're being honest, you'd acknowledge that it's a TERRIBLE match up.

Far from a cherry pick, welter weight division is quite stacked but Garcia would be a stiff test. I think your exaggerating, just my opinion I guess.

I'd rate Garcia as a sharper more intelligent Maidana so I'm not sure what you mean by a Terrible match up?

Of course there are several other fighters that may or may not bring forth more mainstream entertainment value, others might be considered stiffer tests; however, to consider this some sort of insult or an outlandish option is a bit off base.

Danny Garcia lost to Herrera and PEDerson. He's slow of foot and slow of hand and his workrate is low. An elite fighter would pick him off EASILY. Maidna's slow, but he's come forward and all action and he pushed Fluid's stool in.

    :huh

You can state a convincing argument that Herrera was just as ineffective with his strategy in that fight and Peterson waited way to long to push the envelope. Danny is selective, methodical and deliberate with his movements not sure how you interpret that slow with a low work rate….its healthy to have a difference of opinion. no worries.

What? Garcia is the meaning of tailor made for Floyd Mayweather. Much like berto, Ortiz, Guerrero, gatti, canelo, drained Juan manual Marquez, etc. they had absolutely nothing that would have troubled Floyd in the ****nal or styles. What exactly would Garcia be able to do against Floyd? Throw a left hook with his head down? At least khan has his speed and the ability to go in & out(even though Danny did beat him). Khan is probably the hardest fight for Floyd at 147 besides spence and porter and Bradley

    Easier fight than Berto stylistically.
If I were Floyd, I'd be insane not to take a big paycheck in an easy win, especially given it'll take Floyd to 50-0.

    Absolutely!

This has been Mayweather's blueprint to remaining undefeated for awhile now.
There are fighters out there who stylistically can challenge Mayweather, but in Garcia, Mayweather would be picking the fighter who does a lot of things well, but nothing great.
Same blueprint he followed in chosing to fight Carlos Baldomir over Antonio Margarito.

If indeed Mayweather fights Danny Garcia, add another cherry to the many he's allready picked.

Garcia's timing and yes even his philly style would be interesting in close quarters vs Floyd. Floyd doesn't move as quickly as he did say 5 or 6 years ago he'd be forced to fight more in the within a Garcias wheel house. Garcias hand speed isn't as slow and cumbersome as some make it out to be and when delivering a body attack Garcia can be quite effective. I disagree with the "tailor made" and the men you just mentioned don't have the comprehensive package Garcia brings size, speed, reflexes, youth, gritty toughness, savvy etc etc.
