Mayweather has already dealt with the Garcia's of the world, I'm not interested in seeing the same movie over again.

In Garcia you have a fighter who's going to attempt stun and hurt Mayweather. Garcia isn't going to outbox Mayweather, he's going to have to attempt to hurt him with a big shot or be much busier than he is. Pretty much what most every opponent Mayweather has faced has tried and failed against him.
Mayweather even at his age will still be quicker and faster than Garcia, and as long as he's that, Mayweather with his defensive mindset shouldn't have many problems in coping with anything Garcia brings to the table as he's already seen that and then some.

 

Again I respectfully disagree Danny is nothing like a 2013 ghost their overall approach is distinctly different as a matter of fact it would be way to much reading to even point out every impactful difference one would be Roberts swarming approach vs Danny's counter punching approach Vs fighters who have particular advantages over him....it worked with khan and with Lucas he used his boxing ability to counter act Lucas's aggression. Garcia is more layered than most give him credit for.

I'll focus soely on the movie metaphor you used and say that Garcia won't be aiming for the home run shot. The salient contrast here would be Danny's patience versus the unbridled knee jerk aggression that Maidana used, Mosely utilized and yes even Marquez who is a tremendous techniction however he's a subpar adjuster who seemingly looks more well schooled than he actually is because of his superior offensive execution i.e. Punch deliver

Garcia was exposed boxistically by a near shot Erik Morales, only Morales lost steam in the latter part of the fight and Garcia was able to overtake him by winning the late rounds.
