Right there in that interview he states it's a Welterweight fight and that was BEFORE it was postponed.

Then we get different reports from others it's at 144. People were far too confused till a confirmation came that it's at 143-144, nothing above but nothing from Mayweather's team.

 

why did hbo on 24/7 say it is going to be at 144 they said it in episode 1

What do you mean a man of his word? What has he promised and then broken that promise on?

 

Floyd is not willing to starve himself for $600k he is just ****ing Oscar and the Golden Boy who tried to take advantage of him with the catch weigh issue he is a full flesh welter playing by his own rules. Some people portrait him as a dumb he is very smart to me.

The contract is for 144 and 147, but specifically 144 otherwise you get penalized, but also 147 to make sure Floyd doesn't have a huge advantage. There's double insurance in the contract and it's not paying off for Mayweather too much yet, but we'll see tomorrow night.
