Floyd's retired. He's enjoying his retirement, and only wants to come back for mcgreggor because he sees it as an easy big payday. Thats the only reason. In floyd's mind, he's retired. Dangerous to have that mindset and carrying on fighting.

Keith was his mandatory for I believe 2 years, Floyd didn't want to fight him. Keith stepped aside so Floyd
could fight Maidana. If Floyd thought he could beat Keith easily, he would've fought him.

 

No PBF is retired and doesn't need to ever box again. Let Thurman face the young guys like himself and establish his own legacy.

 

You need to understand the FM psyche on this one. He will only fight for 100mil. There is no 100mil in a fight with Thurman who is still relatively unknown. He could get that for Alvarez and possibly GGG but he wouldn't dare to go to mw for those two. That only leaves Pac and Mcgregor. He is reportedly walking around at 160+ right now so if he goes with Pac it would be at 147 which means he would have to seriously train for a guy who hasn't retired like he has and who would be a serious threat to his O. That counts him out so that leaves him with the mma guy. I haven't heard anything about weight for this possible match up but a I'm sure FM would dictate somewhere around 154 so all he has to do is a bit of light training to get past a guy who has never had a fight pick up a quick hundy and thank everyone very much. When has he ever taken the most serious challenge? If he doesn't fight Mcgregor he won't fight at all.
