    This fight should be 50/50 if not 55/45 in favor of Pacquiao. Arum is already saying some junk that it would be 70/30 for Pacquiao. No way Mayweather takes 30%.

    fight should not be 50/50..we saw Hatton earn his 48 percent in 2 minutes. Absolutely appalling. In reality Pac should have gotten at least 70-30 last saturday

    I'd just love to know where you are pulling these figures from. My hunch is your ass. You reckon this fight is gonna make MINIMUM, just for the fighters, 70M? Its gonna be big, but not that big, thats just fantasy land.

    The last thing this fight needs is your attitude reflected in the negotiators. Right now they are probably pretty much neck and neck as far as fanbases go, this should be ideally a straight 50-50, or just for Mayweather's burgeoning ego, 55-45 in his favour. Any less than that and I think Pac would walk away, we saw what happened with the Hatton negotiations.

    The purse split reflects on the fighter's drawing power and ability to put bums on seats and PPV buys. Hatton brought a helluva lot of money to the table, at least as much as Manny.

    Sure, Manny bulldozed him but that beside the point. It was still a competitive fight on paper beforehand, and going in they didn;t know who would 'earn' their splits did they?
