Floyd should retire

"From a business standpoint and a fighter's standpoint, Mayweather SHOULD retire. He has secured his legacy as an all time great, a first ballot hall of famer, he has made more than enough money, and he still has good health for a long-time prizefighter. I wouldn't consider him a ***** if he never fought again, just smart.

Now from a fan's standpoint (which is mine), I would love to see him fight again. His activity in the sport could help to make the next few years the best in a long time. There are still challengers, worthy ones at that, for him to face and his tenure at WW would seem incomplete without facing some of them.

My prediction: He fights next year in another megafight against Miguel Cotto"

Great post. Getting out while you are ahead is more important in boxing then any other sport. But I sure has hell want to see Mayweather/Cotto.

So true though. It is the sort of fight that will be remembered for a long time. It really has to happen, and would be extremely disappointing if it did not.
