    and dominated??
he could have fought casa, juan diaz, tszyu, a 140lb hatton (floyd still wins) pacman would've stepped up earlier and maybe even barrera and morales could've moved up to face him.

had floyd done this i think he could reasonably be regarded as top 3 p4p ever.

    anyone else agree???

Works both ways. He would of been discredited for not continuing to move up.

    Discredited by whom?

Poster like you post too much on what you assume people might say in the future and use that as some form or reason. I doubt you will see how pointless that type of argument is.

If Floyd stayed and dominated at 135 he would of been questioned on why he didn't move up.

Im just saying it works both ways. You stay in a division and dominate, why didn't you move up?

You move up, you ran from some challenger. Goes for any fighter. Not just Floyd.

you think so? i really don't think floyd had any business being in the ring above jr welterweight, certainly no business at 154, it became more of a david v goliath style spectacle than an actual boxing match

People criticize Hopkins sometimes for staying at 160 for so long despite his consistency there. It's not all the time of couse, but I do see it some, so eze is right.

i see what you are saying but middleweight wasn't a strong devision when hopkins had the title, especially compared to lightweight and jr welterweight, which at the time was one of the hottest divisions around

Yes i agree I wish he would have stayed at 140 and only entertained big fights at 147. No one would have discredited him as he would have fought at 3 different weight classes and fought at 147 for big fights so that makes 4.

top 3 all time:lol:   , floyds my favourite fighter at the moment but that stupid, frankly the oscar win is better than anything there, oscar is higher atg than the rest in my mind and floyd beat a decent though not prime oscar in a weight class far above where he is comfortable against a naturally bigger man. A much better win than tszyu who would have been the most significant in that list

Why?? Floyd would embarress him and knock him out, if marquez can stun him mayweather would finish the job. The ony slight advantage that pac has is power and at 135/140 i'm not even sure that he has that though p4p he is a much bigger puncher, i'd love to see floyd back but it should be for margo, williams or cotto not pac
