Floyd Slows down Pac's Punch output right?

Did you. Shane was timing Pac with his pitty pat jab and left hooks going backwards. He was slipping and dodging alot of Pacs shots. If Shane can do that what the hell do you think Floyd will do. It was a lopsided victory for Pac but he looked shitty and claimed he had cramps. People on this message boards are saying he overtrained and whatever bull**** excuses have been made. The Pac Train is coming to a stop. He should retire because Floyd will embarrass him.

 

You know I'm preaching gospel son! What...you cant' tell me you are happy with Floyd doing an Oscar with fighting once a year! You fan of Floyd right....I am too and seeing the man talk 9 months out of the year and only fight 36 mins in 365 days is not enough. Power has no more to do with beating Manny as it does any other fighter, the key to beating Manny is controlling distance, and getting off first. In the first round, when Shane was keeping good distance and getting off first he did fine. When he started standing like a deer in headlights, just waiting on Pac to get comfortable and throw first, the fight went downhill. When you keep Pac at the correct distance, he has to lunge in and reach for his shots, PBF possesses the ability to circle out and catch him with counters while he's off balance and out of position, something SSM couldn't/wouldn't/didn't do. Of course there will be times when exchanges occur, but to dismiss PBF as having no power and/or being feather fisted is a gross miscalculation as he's dropped and hurt several good fighters throughout his career. Granted he's not as powerful as Manny, but his timing, reflexes, and speed intensify the effects of his punches. In terms of PBF's punch output, Pac landed 16 more punches on SSM than Floyd did, granted Pac threw 250 more...that's just 250 more chances for Floyd to counter and hurt him. People are vastly underestimating PBF's offensive prowess, and if this fight ever does happen, I hope Roach/Manny make the same mistake.

 

What is a jab, jab, right cross...that's a combination... Floyd throws those all the time..Floyd doesn't throw flurries and he's not a shoeshiner...don't get it confused he throws combinations...hit Shane with beautiful jab, left hook, right-hand combinations...

Not only that if he's potshotting right? And he lands 3 or 4 straight rights before you land a punch on him...that's considered a combination to because you've done nothing to break the chain of punches he's throwing when he decides to throw them...I swear ya'll not fans of boxing ya'll either A. Floyd Mayweather haters what for I have no idea...or B. Racist and use boxing to disguise your cowardly feelings toward others either or do some research...and take the time to actually watch a Mayweather fight before you talk about something someone doesn't do...41-0 in boxing and never throws combinations...that's just silly.

 

You cant be unbiased using those quotes... they are excerpts from a piece that is actually saying that steroids are dangerous.

Other than that though i agree with you! Floyd does get landed on by south paws, but also... Manny has shown that he can be landed on and not have the counter-ability before his opponent is out of range. Floyd is a MUUUUCH better pot-shotter than Mosely (look at their fight to see proof of that ) I think Floyd frustrates PAC just as much as Pac frustrates floyd in that fight! I Really hope it comes to fruition!

 

Pac also has the uncanny thing :

He makes his opponents throw less.

There was a figure that Pac's last 3 opponents decreased their punch output when fighting pac by almost 1/3.

Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, Hoya, Margarito threw kless punches when they faced Pac.

Who knows!!!! Mayweather might throw less too against Pac. From hs usual 10 punches or pitty-patty punches per round to 6-7 per round ==== UD

 

Mosley didnt even wanted to throw in his right because he got scared of getting countered. Slipping and dodging? yeah he was, but not most of the fight.

Why will Manny retire if your so-called Money doesnt even want to return from boxing? Oh yeah. Floyd will embarrass him ON FANTASY FIGHTS.

 

What are the punch stats from this fight anyone please? I seen on one report that Manny threw around 550 then another report said 750 seems a big difference. They didn't show punch stats on SkySports either so I'm not sure.

Floyd will drop Mannys output. Floyd will be moving and if Manny lunges in he will get countered. Then Floyd will move. If Manny is over aggressive he will get hurt. Floyd doesn't punch like Paulie. If he did he wouldn't be fighting the way he is now. This iz why I said Manny needs a jab. If Floyd is moving and you can't cut the ring off how are you going to win? On top of that Manny lunges with his punches. Manny is to easy to counter. IF Floyd keeps his distance he will win.

 

Ive been saying the same thing for years. People think Manny will just throw 800-1000 punches against floyd, which is ******ed. He only threw 500 against shane and guys like Morales and JMM could get Pac to slow down and box with them. Everyone throws less than their average against floyd, that has been talked about and proven on HBO.


Pac will not beat floyd on activity and he wont outbox him. He needs a knockout in the early rounds to win. He is not going to be winning many rounds in the second half of the fight.

Of course....."they" are gonna talk regardless but you are a target when you are a "Floyd or PAC" in the game! And Floyd only adds fuel to the flame by **** he says and does...or in this case doesn't. PAC gots his haters jockin' his **** too...it's just a far smaller group that what Floyd is workin with.

As a fan of boxing my focus is what they do in that ring. There's a respect and appreciation for what it takes to be a boxer. What they do to prepare, the sacrafices they make to give us these fights.

I don't have to ask PAC to take Floyd's tests...he's already accepted, but for me, PAC has gone far beyond the half way mark in trying to make this fight. Floyd just keeps pushing that needle further and further making it impossible for this fight to be made.

PAC shouldn't have to prove himself to Floyd by taking his tests. Shut the **** up and fight! That's what men do...that's what fighters do....all this talk is some bull sh*t. How you cool with that I have no idea, but that right there shows me we ain't cut from the same cloth.

Floyd is really a rare kind of dude....he's got all the tools and gifts of a warrior but he lacks the mentality of one. Seriously...the majority of his peers are clowin' old boy for bitchin' out. You got old head and young guns speakin' their minds about Floyd and givin their 2 cents and it's all about how Floyd had his skirt pull up.

In my heart I know FLoyd vs PAC is a great fight on paper but based on what I've seen from Floyd....he loses to PAC clearly. Not becasue he's lacking the style or abilities to see him win over Manny...he's lacking the balls and confidence. Floyd ain't the same when he's not sure of himself.
