Ever consider that might be hype? It's fairly likely that SR, being Floyd's trainer and all, would know more about what JR. does and doesn't do in the gym than you Guys?

If anything, he needs to spend LESS time in the gym.

He was bigger and more ripped than Maidana. Maybe he's carrying too muscle masses, hence why his workrate is so abysmal.

Or maybe he's too old for the dehydration process, and it hurts his stamina.

Maybe he should lay off HGH, it adds too much water to his muscles slowing him down.

    Bigger than Maidana???

    What are you smoking?

Also, what dehydration process?? the guy doesnt cut weight!

He weighs in at the same weight he pretty much fights at!

I dont know if you're kidding or just trolling to be honest.

I'm not saying the man doesn't work as hard or harder than anyone, but the late hours things doesn't prove anything by itself. Maybe he "stays up late to train" like we always hear, but what time does he get up every day? He could just be a night person and gets up late every day.

i guess training every single day of the year wasn't enough to beat a c level straightline brawler.

    LOL.

What he meant was that Floyd executed "Operation Make Maidana Look Good" very well, but Dad still thinks that Mayweather can improve his Rope-A-Dope skills.

Yeah but he showed us a glimpse of his routine before he fought Cotto, remember the live streamed hours-long media workout? The epic spar with Omar Henry, taking no breaks and barely drinking any fluids between activities, subsisting on freaking Skittles.

Dude is clearly a workhorse and elite conditioned athlete. If he regularly trains like that even a couple times a week - let alone doing three-a-days, every day - he is ahead of the pack when it comes to #hwd. It's the one thing you aabsolutely have to respect about him (forget the stupid zero) even if you loathe him.

He is in the gym year-round; boxing - specific training every day of active camp.

granted. but he's not in the gym every day of the year
familiarity does breed indifference - and that doesn't prejudice itself between the average joe going to work, or the highest paid sportsman in the world going to the gym

Yes, he was bigger than Maidana, and only someone without eyes could claim otherwise.

And most importantly, he was bigger where it matters. Looks at the shoulder muscles, Floyd has shoulders way bulkier than Maidina's.

Maidana could be heavyer only by being somewhat with denser bones, because otherwise, Floyd is bigger.

And, they both lightly dehydrated at the weight in, look expecially at the mid section, you can clearly see the difference in both between the weigh in pictures and the actual fight pictures. They both looks bigger and fuller, and Mayweather is still bigger than maidina. :deal

Look also the Alvarez fight weigh in pictures: look at the one in wich Floyd is holding the belt and invites Alvarez to hold one side but Alvarez refuses. They are perfectly side to side, and they looks identical. Identical.

    https://www.google.it/search?q=floy...in-floyd-mayweather-jr-vs-canelo.html;768;594

    https://www.google.it/search?q=floy...-canelo-alvarez-weigh-in%2F2810715%2F;534;401

Now look at their rehydrated versions: notice how they both looks bulkier, and basically the same size? Notice how both their midsections are no more as definite and as caved in? It's because abs are the zone that reflects more the dehydration.

    https://www.google.it/search?q=floy...s-canelo-alvarez-judge-controversy%2F;640;440

They are about the same size. Canelo is only bigger in the neck, in the waist and maybe on the legs. The upper body is the same muscolar for both. :hey

Floyd DO dehydrates to make weight, and he is way heavier than he likes to claim.
