Makes me laugh. Freddy Roach was about to throw the towel in for ****'s sake! He ISN'T taking punches all of a sudden. He was getting battered from pillar to post, had wobbly legs and was disoriented going back to his corner. Very lucky to survive the round if anything.

He also was possibly not weight drained either.
As Miguel Diaz mentioned Uncle Roger would go down from a slap at light weight but at light welter only Chavez stopped him.

 

Khan moved up to a comfortable weight after outgrowing lightweight, picked up a better trainer, and got one of the best conditioning coaches in the game. There's NO REASON for his conditioning or punch resistance or overall fitness to improve! Rabble!atsch

 

If Khan were guilty, why would he accept blood testing? I don't think he's taking anything. He just has much better conditioning now, he's not weight-drained, and he's more experienced with dealing with being hurt. (Think of all the gym wars he must go through, let alone the sparring with Pac.) He was all over the place in the tenth round, so I don't know why Floyd Sr thinks he wasn't hurt. Hell, at the end of the round he almost stumbled back to his corner, he looked really out of it. If Cortez hadn't broken up the infighting as much as he did, I wouldn't have been surprised if Khan had gotten KO'd. He was only a punch or two away, I reckon.
