"What I see is, first of all, the man ain't knocked nobody out in five years. He ain't knocked nobody out in 5 years, and the same guy that knocked his ass ice cold, for 12 rounds, Floyd beat him 12 rounds easy. So man, if he was struggling with Marquez then, that boy ain't got a chance in hell. He's so damn short, you ain't never seen nobody go downstairs and hit him in the body either. But see, it's time for us to change things. Nobody did it, but I guess we gonna have to be the first ones that did it. Lookie here, man, he don't ever move his head. "Floyd's going to make him look like a baby. Believe me! Floyd can hit him with a jab and stuff easy, man. He's the most hittable man in the world. You gonna see that. You gonna get a chance to see exactly what I'm talking about. Floyd gonna hit him so easy. Floyd will dominate him bad. He gonna paralyze him. Floyd got a good chance of knocking him out".
So the transitive property doesn't apply to De La Hoya, Mosley, Hatton, or Cotto....all whom Manny destroyed in 10x more impressive fashion than Floyd? If I recall, Mosley buckled Floyd, ODL lost a SD, Cotto lost a competitve decision, and Hatton lasted 10 rounds. None of my business though.
It's going to be a moral victory for you if Pac doesn't get KTFO. You keep insisting that everyone is saying Floyd is going to KTFO Pac. Of course the Mayweathers are going to say that just like Roach has been saying Pac is going to KO everybody before each fight.
he might not have knocked anyone out in 5 years but he has knockdowns in those years he has also knocked plenty of fighters down so when was the last time floyd knocked someone down besides the cheap shot on ortiz?? i hope this fight doesn't become a snooze fest and i hope pac trains like rocky did against drago. lets just hope the fight is a great one and puts boxing back on the map. lets also hope the undercard is stacked!
You have Floyd Sr. on one hand and Freddie on the other. I suspect the truth is somewhere in between these two bs'ers.
A KO is more impressive to whom? Causals that have lust for blood and don't know the intricacies of boxing? A more dominating fight is whitewashing people from the 1st to the 12th. A boxer always has the excuse, be it real or perceived of saying "I got caught" When Julian Jackson fought Herol Graham, Graham was clearly winning the fight but got caught with one punch, one punch won Jackson the fight. That doesn't mean that The Hawk was a better fighter, it meant that he got his one opportunity and he took advantage of it. Graham was ahead on all three cards clearly too. Now, if you beat someone convincingly over 12 rounds, you can be certain of a few things as they have tried different techniques and have been stopped at nearly all avenues and you simply can't stop the other guy from punching you. This is in no way to diminish the role of a KO as they are great but we know that Floyd is a safety first fighter, will never overextend himself to get one so this is a metric that isn't worth **** right now.
