Yep i agree he fought the wrong fight, should have danced and jabbed early on and timed the big shots, trading with Pacquiao is suicide.
hahah...Floyd gonna win this fight...i wonder who he gonna have to fight next...u know after he beat lil pac (competitive fight though) haters gonna be saying he gotta fight mosley..he should move up to 155 and fight kp for the 160 lb title
Someone made the point in another thread, and it's a good one, that the real problem guys at the higher weightclasses have against Manny is the speed, not the power. It's not that he's an absolute monster puncher...he doesn't have a lot of one punch KO's on his record. He hits fast and reasonably hard and that's enough to get flash knockdowns but he only really puts people out after beating on them. In lower weighclasses the guys tend to be faster, so while the punches have more effect they can also deal with the speed better and get hit less. Manny has carried his speed very well up to welterweight so the guys he is fighting aren't used to dealing with how quickly he punches and they get hit with a lot more punches, as well as a lot of punches they don't even see coming. Pac still fights like a little guy, he just happens to not be so little of a guy anymore.
Honestly, I think Floyd gonna get his due if he beats Manny. Some people are still gonna hate just like some people still hatin on pac after dominating cotto. Those people will few. I would want to see him face Mosely after he beats Pac but it will be unecessary and will be only for the few haters left.
So did Floyd, and he doesn't knock ANYONE out anymore, and he even did it first. Hatton was a knockout waiting to happen. Collazo was the first hint, Floyd made it obvious and Pac confirmed it.
omg some of you have to be joking with this ****...talk about discrediting someone. don't forget that check hook he ran into knocked him into the cornerpost lol.
I guarantee you this is the only time you or anyone else here has ever agreed with Floyd Sr. Amazing how someone can be wrong all the time until the one time they agree with you. Seriously though, he also said Hatton would KO Pacquiao, so if his record of fight predictions holds true it's Pac that's in for a rough night.
