He does give FLoyd advice in the Oscar fight. Go to my Roger Mayweather appreciation thread and you'll see detailed advice.
Also Roger will tell Floyd things even when he's winning the fight like "Start letting the right hand go" and then you'll see Floyd throw like 3 straight rights in a row

no, i didn't think mayweather was behind all 3 first rounds of the delahoya fight.. but that's 3 rounds!!.. i can understand if it was round 6-7 and floyd was clearly losing, THEN he instructions would have sounded differently.... and again, the first castillo fight might have been close but there wasn't anything different that floyd could have done due to the injury....with the mosley fight, 2 rounds pass and you already want to change the "gameplan"??? :patsch Like i said, Floyd adjusts to the fight so it makes it a bit easier on roger.... but you can't expect his corner to start changing up their gameplan after just a couple of rounds. :nut

Exactly. The display by Floyd Jr. first and then followed up with his father- but not near the scale as Jr. took it to- was disgraceful. I was ashamed and a little embarrased as a viewer to witness that!

Floyd has turned the ultimate boxing heel- and it is paying off, big time!

Could it all be a show? Could it be a total show?

I knew it.. This will be Floyds downfall. If he has yesman sparring partners and he gets in with a guy like Ortiz that will try and take his head off that is disaster.

AND if you listen to the announcers early in Floyd's career you here them say that he looks just like Roger in the ring(fight style wise). Floyd has a mixture of both and then he has his own ****.

:patsch:patsch god given talent .. so Floyd fighting skills are divine ? I don't think so .. Floyd was trained like any other person, he just so happen to be trained at an early age buy some very knowledgable professional in Floyd Sr and Rodger .. now with that being said Floyd Sr has not been officially training floyd in almost 20 years now, that has been Rogers job and Sr needs to go sit down somewhere and be quite and stop trying to take credit for something he did not do.

reflexs are god given your born with them, good or bad.hand speed is also something you either have or you dont to some extent, now that can be trained but floyd was born with fast hands.floyd has exeptional reflexs and anticipation,he was born with that,in all athletes their are things you just cant teach, they either have it or they dont.

Don't let Roger fool you. The dude knows boxing. I can't even remember which one it was but Floyd was winning a fight against someone one but it wasn't looking as easy as it had always been. Midway through the fight Roger changed things up and told Floyd to concentrate all his punches on the opponents body because he believed that was going to put him away. Well Floyd did exactly that and I think it was 2 rounds later that Floyd knocked the dude out with a body shot.

I didn't see what Roger saw but he was obviously dead on with his strategy. Don't let the man's old school phrases fool you. That dude knows boxing.
