If shane could have continued to make weight at light weight we wuld have seen it at some point im sure

 

I mean come on fellas Who uses JMM as a Tune Up? JMM is an Elite Fighter and he calls it a Tune up. Then again hes the best guy to fight if he wants to prepare for pac man

Same thing I was thinking. Marques should not be even thinking about going up in weight at his age. But I understand the best payday in his life justify the ass whooping he is going to get.
One fight as tune up, I can understand that. A couple of fights after Marquez??? Sounds to me like lets wait until Shane gets a little older and a little tired of training.

If he wants to be serious should be Marquez, Shane before the end of the year, and Paul Williams early next year. That is, if he beats Mosley and if Paul Williams can still make 147lbs. I know he is praying for PW not to be able to make the weight. Margarito is out of the picture and Floyd will make him look like a clown anyways. Cotto is having too many issues. Let's see is can beat Clottey. Berto?? Please!!! Should not even be considered, but knowing Floyd's record.......

 

We're talkin about Floyd Mayweather Jr. He doesn't even use a jab to set up his punches. He doesn't even have his hands up most of the time, he's that quick. He can step out of range before you even throw the punch. He only has his back to ropes when he wants to be back there setting something up. Even when he's right in front of you he'll duck and roll and nothing will land flush. And if he is ducking and rolling you better watch out cause he'll fire straight right hands and uppercuts out of that guard in a split second!

JMM fights very traditionally; sets up punches with a jab, moves from side to side, mixes up punches very well. He has great stamina and agility. JMM has one of the best boxing brains but he is limited to that old school style where everything is set up with a jab or lead punch.

No one fights like Mayweather, and you can't learn to fight like Mayweather from anyone else besides a Mayweather.

 

You do realize he's only been promoting himself for 3 fights now.

I just don't see JMM as an easy pray and you didn't answer anything in the regard.

 

Shane is the one fighter at 147 I would definitely favour over Floyd (although P-Dub if he was still fighting there as well)

I'd lean towards Floyd over Cotto and the other guys would be lucky to win a round against him (I'm talking about Pac too)

 

I wasn't answering your question. I'm sayin Mayweather's style of fighting is far advanced from JMM's traditional 'jab-jab-right cross' style of fighting. JMM is a great tactician but he still fights with a style that many fighters use. A style that Mayweather has already had a very easy time dealing with.

JMM is not easy prey for anyone, but I can see Floyd beating JMM.

 

Let this fight happen. The perfect setting for the return of the king, setting up the drama for a show down with Manny Pacman the temporary place holder. Floyd will make history.
