In an interview with Chris Robinson, he also says Floyd is still getting sharper and things are coming together. I do appreciate how at least senoir openly talks about how he saw the fight and watches tape, and does pretend he doesnt like alot of other people.

Matthysse would never hit floyd so I doubt he'd have to adapt much in the first place. Also Floyd is bigger then the guys that Matthysse is knocking cold. Even if Matthysse could reach him I doubt he'd be able to stop him. If Floyd can stand up to cotto and Mosely's best he'd be able to weather one or two of matthysse shots. Maybe Matthysse wins a round but that is being generous.

    And he's telling the truth...

Don't get me wrong, in front of anyone else, he's a nightmare. But in front of floyd, he would look more silly than Marquez and Guerrero..

Well, being a trainer, he would be a fool to claim he did not watch tapes. That's what trainers do.

I have never heard a trainer say he did not watch tape. Fighters? Yes, but not trainers.

PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Matthysse. He has nothing but a puncher's chance against PBF.

He's not from this country. Floyd doesn't like that.

I think he'd put up a decent fight, way better than Guerrero at least. Guerrero just looked completely beat mentally by the 6th round.

Nah. He'd put up the same level or fight or maybe worse. PBF has the perfect style for Matthysse's. Oh so perfect.

My vote is Mayweather prob won't fight him.
(For whatever be the reason, Just not in the cards)

    I'd pick Floyd to win...

Mathysse does everything conventionally, his shots would match up perfectly with Floyd's roll, I doubt he lands anything of note. The jab not good enough to back him up on the defensive, the speed not good enough to make the combinations land by surprise, the height not enough to take advantage of opportunities over the top.

Floyd performed well in his last fight but that won't last forever, if Mathysse can pick Garcia apart, then he has a chance to make it competitive with some smart body shots and the occasional overhand right, but that's it IMO.

Matthysse would be easy money for Floyd. If Lucas brought a little more size to the table, it'd be a hell of a match though.

I think he does intrigue Floyd Sr some and would like to see him as an opponent

A really exciting fighter has just had his breakthrough moment but guess what?

He wouldn't beat the best fighter on the planet.

**** me! It really is a bad day for news if this is relevant.

When all fails, Floyd can always rely on his pot shot and escape skills. Floyd got Plan B locked down and will apply it from the opening bell as Plan A.
