If anyone can beat Floyd at 147, and knock him the **** out, it's Shane. Not saying that at 37 he will, but if anyone can, Shane can.

    exactly.

that's why floyd will never fight pacquiao or mosley, because he might get caught, and if he does he will get decked by the kind of power those boys are packing.

pbf is still an excellent champ, but if he wants the kind of legacy he believes he deserves, he needs to take on these boys.

where leonard was getting in with duran, hearns and hagler, mayweather is avoiding the kind of fighters who will test his skills on an altogether different level.

James toney is arguably my favourite fighter to watch. Hes completely different to calzaghe though. You cant say he was 'much better ' than calzaghe at sw because thats a lie. RJJ fight is an example-simple fact- he supposedly struggled to make weight(168), like he has supposedly very many times struggled to make weight .''Hes a ****ing fraud'' is just babyish. grow up

Dude not to pick on you or anything but , you are doing someway out rationalizing .. The whole reason floyd is coming out of retirement is to try and secure a multi Million dollar fight with Pac.. You do know this right ?

Many on this site criticize floyd for trying to make a fight with Pac, claiming Pac is too small for floyd.. Honestly I think Floyd will bust Pac's ass Good.

Not only that Hopkens had over 50 amateur fights before going to prison, so that kill any excuse that Hopkins was green.

Don't fall for floyd's BS. He also said he wanted Margarito any time anywhere as long as Arum showed him the money. Then when Arum showed him the money, he got scared.

ya'll go back to these quotes floyd made about wanting Mosley back then, as if floyd would never lie - or pretend to want to fight someone to make himself look good.

Fact is the Mosley fight is knocking on his door and it's a much bigger money fight than Marquez - and he's dodging it.

    the fraud continues...

James Toney was the number 1 pfp fighter when Roy beat him, and at the time Tony's resume had the some of the best fighter on it to back up that statement.

again do some research . the 8 mil Arum offered floyd was a package deal not a one time deal ,, Floyd was to take the 8 mill to fight tony . the deal Also included fights with Cotto and Hatton for 7 million , Floyd wanted 10 million for Hatton and Cotto , Arum would not budge from 7 mill so floyd bought out his contract and fought Baldi for 8 and Oscar for 15 mill. This is the Story told to ESPN by Arum himself.

Arum NEVER offered Floyd straight up money for Marg, he offered Floyd a multi fight deal. The multi fight deal included Cotto, Marg and Hatton. Arum said he'd give Floyd 8mil for Marg and then 7mil for Cotto and Hatton.

Arum obviously thought Floyd was dumb, how can you put up less money for the bigger draws (hatton and cotto) and more for a relative unknown in Marg. Make sense? Of course not.

But what does that mean when some say he had to come from 200 pounds to fight jones!. Also toney had been in some close decisions and wasnt totally dominant like an rjj in their dominant years.

Was that at the end of 06 after Mosley had fought Vargas?

Also - Why the hell would Mosley fight Floyd in 2001 when Floyd couldn't draw flies to **** at that time - In comparison to Golden Boy and beating a prime Oscar after leaping two weight divisions?

To avoid Floyd? Are you serious?

Even Ellebre would have had to say in 01 - If it don't make dollars then it don't make sense....

read my other comment. ill say this- He's career played out how it played out. People are saying he should have done this and that but its totally different to the position froch is in. And again its difficult to talk about it with you as uve clearly stated your 'hate' for calzaghe. For the record those(toney, rjj, calzaghe) are up there as my favourite fighters. I obviously find myself 'defending' calzaghe as a uk fighter as he seems to garner the most 'hate' and jealousy.

I think Floyd would outclass Cotto, beat him at his own game. Williams, either because no one at WW will fight him, or because he can no longer make weight, is JMW or MW. I still think Mosley is the only one with a chance. But it's really just a guess. Everyone is guessing when it comes to Mayweather and top WW competition, because he's never faced any!
