Funny, Floyd beat the best then people claim he "avoids" people who up until year prior to his departure were not world figures and are still not fully there. Beating Cotto, Berto, Williams or Margarito is something we all know he can do but adds nothing to his resume. Who has anyone of these fighters beat to be called "great"? Cotto beat Shane and that is about it. Floyd should stay retired and prove that boxers can be smart.

If Floyd comes back for De La Hoya or Hatton or even Pacman then he can stay retired.

147 hes beat Judah and Baldomir... that aint the ****ing best.

JUDAH AND BALDOMIR are his best wins at 147... i dont even have to continue... because that says it all.

If Pacman beats DLH, a PBF fight would be HUGE!

It would be but Manny needs to get by DLH. I want Manny to win but I do not see it happening.

Unless DLH throws the fight, just so he can promote PBF v. Manny, and make some more $$$.

Yep the last 2 Linear Champs back to back in only 4 fights at the weight, then ATG Delahoya for the 154lb WBC strap, then linear 140lb Champ Hatton who everyone wanted to see him face at 140 and accused him of ducking

Not to mention Margarito got offered the Mayweather fight in 2006 in place of Judah who had just lost and Cotto/Hatton in Nov 2005

Im not gonna argue over it...

im not talking about hatton, im not talking about hoya..

Im talking what his resume is at 147, spin it anyways you want... these are the facts.. this is the record book.

    Baldomir - W UD
    Judah - W UD
    Mitchel - W UD
    Hatton - W KO

    That speaks for itself

Are they good wins? of course they are.... are the hatton (especially hatton) and hoya wins VERY good wins? yes (those two are better wins then any of his 147lb wins)

    but the FACT REMAINS

Baldomir, judah, and mitchel... are his best wins, judah who hadnt won a fight in nearly a year, and went on to lose to cotto by stoppage the next year... and who lost to clottey.

and... baldomir, who took longer then gomez to stop gatti...

and hatton.... a 140lber (great win)

None of those wins except hatton hold a candle to if he were to fight and beat
    Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, or Williams....

    and thats just the truth.

So this... oh he fought the best so should stay retired crap... is just that, crap.

If he fought and beat any of the top 4 welterweights in the world... they would be in his top 5 wins of his career... that says something.

I mean... its painfully, painfully obvious that judah, sharmba mitchel and baldomir are MORE then a class below Cotto, Margarito and Williams that its boggling that i even have to argue that point (which i said i wouldnt do lol)

they were the Champs at the time.. Judah was lineal champ at 147 don't forget..

who else was there at that time for him to fight at 147 that was actually significant??

Pac-Mayweather would be a horrible fight.

I love Pac, but Mayweather's reach advantage is ridiculous. It'll be a more one sided replay of Pac-Morales I.
