My mom had sarcoids and was treated and is now cured. I doubt sarcoids is forcing him to retire.

I am not a fan of Floyd Mayweather Senior but my human compassion makes me wish him the very best to deal with the lung infection.

When it comes to boxing trainers I am a big fan of Uncle Roger Mayweather's wisdom. As I have always said 4 Mayweathers fought and 2 were championS, Uncle Roger a.k.a. the Black Mamba & the Mexican Killer and Pretty Boy Floyd an ATG an the pound for pound best of his era. I will never forget Uncle Roger's punching power and the number of Mexican fighters he defeated until they had to get the great Julio Cesar Chavez to beat him.

What more is there to be said about PBF a fighter of the ages.

Floyd Senior and Uncle Jeff Mayweather were true contenders. Many families may claim to be the Royal family of boxing but the Mayweathers stand alone.

Dude this blows, when was the man diagnosed? And does anyone know what stage the disease is. Cause some of the primary stages can go into remission within about 2-5 years (although the prognosis is more frequently worse for blacks)....

anyways here's a page on the disease if anyone cares to read it...but its pretty technical and long so I won't bother doing any more then skimming even if you are interested.

p.s. thought Bernie Mac Die of an antibiotic resitent from of Pneumonia....but I could be wrong.

p.s. Sacroidosis is only fatal in about 5% of cases....althought that for the population...not sure what it is in african americans....eitherway the man is not likely to die from it.
