A useful purpose is they recover your body super fast. If I did chest today...There'd be no way I should do chest tomorrow. I'd be sore, and my body would have to heal. If I did I'd do more harm than helping. You tear something down...You have to let it build back up. If I was on roids I could do it everyday because my body would build up at an amazing rate (at least that's the general idea). SO roids do not help you in the 3rd round of a fight or something. You may feel some roid rage, but you'd be pretty blind, and out of your mind if it'd have that effect on you...
