I hear you, but if you're Floyd and you're caught in this fight now (you signed to fight Guerrero or are about to), what are you going to do?

    Something like this "call out."

I'm just reading the writing on the wall. Hope I'm wrong.

Pacquiao vs. "a lightweight [brought] up to welterweight" sold 1.4 million, apparently. I guess they thought it was legit.

Why don't you go in self-exile when this doesn't happen. If it does, I'll leave for a month then. If you can't back your bull****, then stop spewing it.

There were different circumstances. Marquez already had two fights with Manny (Some people felt he won both fights). Marquez was the champ at lightweight and was rated top 5 P4P. Also Marquez is well known in the public. Guerrero just came off surgery for a torn rotator cuff, he is ranked number 3 at lightweight and is nowhere near the P4P list. Guerrero isn't well known either. I barely knew anything about him until he said he kicked Manny's ass in sparring. What in the hell is Floyd going to say? "Robert Guerrero is one of the best fighters in the sport". There is no way he can pull this off. With Marquez, it made more sense. Marquez just "arguably" beat Manny not to long ago, Marquez just had a fight of the year match with Diaz, and Marquez was number 2 P4P. Floyd fighting Guerrero is utter **** and Floyd should know that.

He was #2 P4P when Floyd fought him, yet that win is crucified despite it being no different than the circumstances around Pac/JMM III. DOUBLE STANDARD. The double standards regarding the perception of Floyd Mayweather are crazy...

I don't know, everybody makes a huge deal about age. Pac dragged up a 38 year old LW. Guerrero is only 28 years old. Not saying that is a big deal. But it would be if the fighters were reversed. Oh, it'd be thread starting material all day for Pacquiao fans. But you'll only hear this age deal brought up when it negatively affects Floyd. It's both true and predictable.

    ---

    And, most importantly:

WOW! You are confessing that you "barely knew anything" about Robert Guerrero?!? Obviously, you don't follow the sport to the degree that your opinion on any matters such as these would be relevant.
