as a neutral Floyd fights are always more interesting and a bigger event!! He fought an undefeated champion in Hatton.... Marquez who was the number 3 guy after floyd had been inactive for a couple years... Shane after a career defining victory etc

Pac fight a bunch of past its who floyd has already beaten usually insisting they come in at a weight where they are a shadow of their usual self!! predictable easy fights only designed to add to his legacy!! no wonder he has concerts the same night as his fights!!

You can't use basic logic to make a point to these guys.

Why don't you just include the PPV $10-$20 dollar from every Theater seat in the Philippines to add to the total PPV's like GBP does with $10 theater seats in the US?

Floyd said he was the wbc champ at 140 and 147 at the same time :rasta
He also said he wanted to be the 154 champ and fight fights at 154 and 147 like the old school fighters would(Henry Armstrong), but they told him he couldn't

The PPV numbers for Pac-Mosley include Sunday where the fight was also available for purchase and also are not official (from Arum, no formal announcement from Showtime).

    Pathetic

Why would you pay to see Mosley again after the performance he had against PBF? So getting 1.3 which is just short of mr.cash cows 1.4 was a success.

Floyd vs JMM out sold both Pacman vs JMM fights. Actually it doubled the total.

What you guys forget is Floyd and Manny are shown free here in the UK (to sky subscribers, it's not on box office ppv) and free around many other countries I'm sure.
When they fight each other it will be worldwide ppv so the 100k difference is a pittance compared to the large picture.
They need each other to sell worldwide ppv so 50/50 will be more than enough for all parties.

As a neutral I disagree. Most unbiased boxing fans are taken in by both fighters.

I must add after your description of both men I find it hard to include you as one of us "neutrals".

Odds do indicate on a very "SURFACE" level who is fighting the stiffer comp....but when you are Floyd or PAC, typically the odds are always stacked in their favor.....even if their opponents are better than what the bookies project.

Both PAC and Floyd have the ability to pull out big numbers in fights that aren't SEEN as competitive in nature. Case in point... Floyd vs JMM. Great PPV #'s but was a complete mis match.
